21 Day Daniel Fast

Hey Luv, I am so excited for this year and all GOD has for us. I want us to stay on HIS path and hear HIM clearly. My prayer for you all is to live a life of blessings and abundance. The Lord already blesses us on a daily just because we are under HIS Grace & Mercy. Do you know that there is a way you can be blessed even more? For us to be blessed even more by GOD WE MUST be OBEDIENT. When we are obedient to what GOD is calling us to do everything around us gets blessed. HE would rather we be Obident than sacrifice. It says it is in 1 Samuel 15:22

But Samuel replied, “What is more pleasing to the LORD: your burnt offerings and sacrifices or your obedience to his voice? Listen! Obedience is better than sacrifice, and submission is better than offering the fat of rams.

1 Samuel 15:22 NIV

In order for us to be obedient, we must be in tune with HIS spirit. We must not let our flesh get in the way of what HE is calling us to do. What I mean by that is not letting doubt stop us, not letting our emotions stop us, not letting others stop us. The only one we must submit to is HIM. The best way to hear GOD more clearly and stop the noise is fasting. Fasting is a tool that we must use to be spiritual and physical discipline. It says in 1 Corinthians 9:27

 I discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it should. Otherwise, I fear that after preaching to others I myself might be disqualified.

There are so many more spiritual and physical benefits to fasting. I listed a few and I hope that through this fast more will be revealed.

GOD has placed it on my heart to do the 21 days Daniel Fast. The fast is based off the prophet Daniel.

  • When this vision came to me, I, Daniel, had been in mourning for three whole weeks. All that time I had eaten no rich food. No meat or wine crossed my lips, and I used no fragrant lotions until those three weeks had passed.

I have come in answer to your prayer. 13 But for twenty-one days the spirit prince[a] of the kingdom of Persia blocked my way. Then Michael, one of the archangels,[b] came to help me, and I left him there with the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia.[c] Daniel 10:12-13 NLT

Daniel experienced several health and spiritual benefits. While we are fasting we will be doing a bible study on daniel. BEFORE DOING THIS OR ANY FAST MAKE SURE YOU TALK TO YOUR HEALTH CARE PROVIDER. Pray over it and make sure your health comes first.

What can you eat during The 21 day Daniel Fast?

It is mainly a plant-based diet with some restrictions. You can eat as many fresh or frozen fruits and vegetables. You can also eat beans, whole grain, unsalted nuts, unsalted seeds, herbal tea, non-dairy unsweetened preferably homemade milk, fresh-squeezed juice and You are not allowed to eat any processed foods, stay away from foods with preservatives, bread, gum, mints, candy, crackers, cookies, nothing fried, iodized salt, caffeine, soda, Sugar, sweeteners, meat, dairy, or meat products. Watch the seasonings you use for preservatives and iodized salt.
